My Branding

You see a lot of floating bubbles around the site. Why?
Here is the simplified branding design process in 3 steps.

1

My Chinese Name

This is the last Chinese Character of my name, meaning ocean.

2

Logo Design

I break down the stroke of my name into graphical elements, creating a logo that looks like a one-point perspective ocean.

3

3D Animation

I was further inspired to create a fluid animation to reinforce the impression of my branding and to showcase my skill.

My name consists of three Chinese characters, and I specifically chose “Ocean” because it reminded me of Bruce Lee's famous phrase "Be water, my friend". This philosophy of adaptability and openness to new ideas has been integral to my approach to design challenges, as I believe in embracing iterative design and staying up-to-date with trends and technologies to create effective solutions.

Other than work

I am curious, and learn about new things of the world constantly. Reading and taking photography are my favorite's hobbies after work.

Reading

I am a books lover, with interests in various genres. While reading books on new topics always thrills me, I am a loyal reader of sci-fi, psychology, and history. Books always give me a deep insight into human behaviors and society. Here are some of the recent reads I found exceptionally entertaining and inspirational.

Photography

Photography allows me to observe the world and people in a new scope. For me, photography is like a record of people and places, a personal field research of ordinary yet exciting places.
